Sometimes things just happen...there's no telling why, but sometimes the pieces just fit and there's no explaining it. Stopfate is one of those things that just happened, we didn't ask for it, we didn't try--it just evolved into the entity that you witness today.
Plus and Minus
That's us...why you ask? Hard to say, I answer. We never chose these names or the positions we hold, as a matter of fact we were known by many names before this time. As our purpose began to materialize, the names just appeared one day. We stop fate. We give second chances to those souls that have lost hope, lost their way, or lost the will. I and we could never explain why, but for some reason Minus realized that it was his place in life to taketh away, and Plus understood that it was his purpose to giveth back...
Thus stopping fate and granting them an extra chance, a chance to start over.
These may sound like the rantings of a madman, and may very well be, but this situation is obviously out of our hands.

The two of us have been down since were like 14, over 12 years ago. we’ve been together whether living in the same shitty house, or living 1500 miles apart...we were there for all the hardcore shows, dating sisters, and getting mobbed by people who wanted me dead... now we’re here. from the first day we met, we knew what we were supposed to do. stopfate has existed in one form or another since 1994, and only came to exist in it’s current form in October of 2002.
stopfate is a second chance. stopfate is resurrection. stopfate is hope. stopfate is all about saying "f*ck the hand that fate dealt me," and changing your path. it’s about giving new life to a soul that has been beaten down and given up.
stopfate is about ignoring the mainstream and all of the lies that MTV and the radio tell you.
stopfate is something that we hope someone can identify with. in the bad times, of which there have been too many -no jobs, no money, no love- in the times when we are worried about what the hell went wrong, and what we‘re gonna do tomorrow-- stopfate gives us something to smile about and something to dream about.
